The Focke Wulf 190 served the German air force during WWII. This single seat fighter plane proved to be superior to its Allied counterpart the Supermarine Spitfire. In all, almost 20,000 of these aircraft were produced. The 190 housed a 1,776-hp engine, and flew at a top speed of 426 mph. It was armed with two 13-mm MG 131 machine-guns and two 20-mm MG 151 cannons, plus one 1,102 lbs. bomb.
