The Macchi C.202 Folgore "Thunderbolt" was developed and manufactured by Macchi Aeronautica in Italy. It was operated mainly by the Regia Aeronautica during the Second World War. The Folgore was one of the best wartime fighters of World War II and serve in large numbers with the Regia Aeronautica.
