The Four Wheel Drive Auto Company of Clintonville, Wisconsin launched the Model B in 1912. The FWD Model B saw widespread service with American and British forces during the First World War. British Army ordered 50 trucks in 1915 and the US Army was interested in the military potential of the vehicle. Over 16,000 vehicles were built.
