One of several advanced fighter designs under development by the Luftwaffe at the end of World War II, the Dornier Do 335 was characterized by its unusual engine placement. With its engines placed at each end of the fuselage it had a considerable reduction in drag, this allowed for speeds in excess of 470 miles per hour. The Do 335 was one of the fastest propeller driven aircraft ever built. Detailed engines with open or closed fuselage panels and movable wing flaps. Optional single seat or two seat version plus three figures, two mechanics and standing pilot. Decal marking for Do 335A-O, fourth prototype 1.Staffel, Versuchsverband des Oberbefehlshabers der Lufwaffe, 1944, D0 335 A-6 (V-10), two seat night fighter prototype, Do 335A-O second prototype, USAF post war test markings and Do 335 A-6 (V-10) Royal Air Force post war test markings.
